Hussain's story

Hussain, who is 23 years old, is a single Iraqi youth client and lives with his parents. Hussain and one of his parents provide the income of the family together.

Hussain owns a small shop for selling mobile phones and accessories. He also sells CDs and DVDs of most of the local artists. After gaining enough experience while working along with his brother at a similar shop, he established his own business in 2004 and now he has one employee. His fast growth and compatible prices gave him a good reputation in the surrounding area.

Hussain is requesting a youth loan of USD 2,400. He will use this loan to buy more mobile phones to sell, as well as to redecorate and renovate his shop. He is aiming to grow his business and increase his profits so he will be able to provide himself better living standards.
