A loan of $1,250 helped to pay for the maintenance of her clinic and to buy operative supplies.

Ma. Dolores's story

This is Ma. Dolores. She previously accessed a 30,000 PHP loan that she used for the maintenance of her clinic. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in their personal, household and business expenditures. She also has a van-for-rent business for additional income.

Ma. Dolores would like to apply for another loan, this time for 50,000 PHP, for the maintenance of her clinic and to buy operative supplies. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Ma. Dolores hopes that her business will last for a long time and dreams that her two daughters will finish their studies. She meets up every week with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
