A loan of $1,175 helped to buy cattle.

Noe's story

Noe, 36, lives with his wife and children in a rustic house he inherited from his parents. He is a farmer in the rural area and travels every weekend to the city to sell his cattle and sheep. He is very dedicated to caring for the animals since their sale price depends a lot on quality. He obtains most of his profit from the Sunday livestock market held in the city because many people from all over the country travel their to make their purchases. His sister helps with the business.

He says selling livestock offers a good income, so in the future he would like to work at it full time and raise more animals. This is his second KIVA loan and he is committed to paying it back on time. Noe will use the 3,000 PEN to buy more cattle, especially a purebred bull.
