A loan of $900 helped to buy rice, sugar, milk, and other products.

Dolibe's story

Dolibe, 60, is an enterprising woman who very much wants to get ahead. She's married and has three adult children. She lives in her own house with her whole family as well as her grandchildren. They all work every day to have a peaceful life without needs.

Dolibe's job is selling grocery necessities, including rice, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, oil, vegetables, and more. Her business is in her house, where she waits on customers every day. She has worked in this field for five years.

In the beginning she had the help of her husband, but now she herself works full-time tending to her customers. She supplements her store with occasional sales of various garments, shoes, and cosmetics.

What she likes about her job is that she has time to carry out her main household tasks. Fortunately it's going very well for her. She always has customers because of the variety of products she sells; also, it's the only grocery store in her area. She hopes to be able to continue developing and make her business grow.

Currently she's requesting 2300 soles [PEN]. She's grateful to those who are giving her the opportunity of getting this loan, which will give her the security to continue with her job. She also pledges to make her payments punctually.

With the requested amount she'll buy merchandise to sell in her store: sweets, rice, sugar, bread, eggs, milk, oil, vegetables, laundry products, and soda.
