Lila's story

Lila, 62 years old, is a friendly and hardworking woman. She is married and has the company of her husband and six children who are already adults and self-sufficient. They live together in their own home, which they earned through a lot of work and effort. Lila primarily works selling all types of drinks in a variety of sizes, brands, and flavors. Her customers use them to refresh themselves and satiate their thirst that comes from the intense climate in their region. She has a freezer where she stores each day the beers and sodas that she will sell during the day from her home. Her customers are mainly her neighbors, friends, and acquaintances. She has had this business for nearly three years and has developed it with the help of her children. She also works planting yucca on her land located on the outskirts of the city. She has two hectares planted with this crop and has full production, although she has some operating issues that need to be solved.

She really likes her work because she is able to use her free time. She also wants to grow her business because she sees that it is generating her very good income because it is so well located, and with time, she learned to treat her customers well, and this makes them always return to her shop. At this time, she is requesting S/. 3,500 soles and is very happy to know that she has the financial support to be able to continue growing her working capital. With the money requested, she will purchase drinks of all brands and packaging as well as invest in cleaning up her land that is planted with yucca.
