A loan of $525 helped to buy wood and dirt for his business.

Ismael's story

Ismael, 46, has three dependent children who live with him in his house in San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. For seven years, he has had a business making bricks and tiles to build houses. Ismael has four employees, who work either full or part time. He is a serious, hardworking man, whose goal is to keep his shop running and creating more jobs in the area.

Ismael's customers are builders or people living abroad who send money to their relatives so that they can buy materials to build their own houses. Ismael has applied for a loan to buy wood and dirt, the materials he needs to make bricks, for his business. He is pleased to be working with Prisma, whose loan will provide the funding necessary to complete his projects. Ismael dreams of having a great workshop that employs more people.
