A loan of $375 helped to buy a bicycle.

Keila Jocabed's story

Young Keila Jocabed is from El Sauce. She’s the mother of a little boy. She formed her home at a young age and she’s a hardworking, tenacious woman of good principles who despite earning little strives daily to do a good job.

She works as a social worker for a municipal project where her main job is teaching adults especially in rural areas to read and write. It’s worth pointing out that this is admirable work requiring much patience to teach these people because they are very humble people.

She walks long kilometers daily to visit her potential students house to house and this is why she’s asking Ceprodel for her first loan to buy a bicycle to use as a means of transportation in order to avoid these long walks.

She trusts in God that Kiva lenders through Ceprodel will approve her loan request so she can make this investment. She will be eternally grateful because these loans are of great help to salaried people who earn so little.
