A loan of $1,075 helped to buy fish to sell.

Cesar Augusto's story

Cesar is 35 years old, single, and lives with his mother in a village near Peña Blanca, Cortes. Cesar has been buying and selling fish for 15 years. He sells as a street vendor. He says that this business is quite profitable, as the demand for fish is very good.

As an extra source of income, Cesar also sells articles for the household. Currently he is applying for his 11th loan, in the amount of 21,000 lempiras, and needs it to buy fresh fish to sell.

With this loan he will increase his earnings, and be able to continue investing in the business. His goal is to continue working and to expand his business to other locations.
