Kelly sells cookies that she makes herself, she has produced them for three years, a family friend showed her how to make them and with her spouse she saved some capital to start her cookie shop. Now she sells on cash terms to other store owners, that like her product because it's very fresh; in her small shop she prepares the dough, shapes and bakes every day from Monday to Saturday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, she produces during the afternoon and distributes during the mornings. Her working capital sometimes is insufficient for the growth challenges she faces, because if she generates sufficient income, she would expand her kitchen, buy an oven and increase her production capacity. She is currently applying for credikiva, with it, she will buy ingredients such as yeast, sugar, and she will make some improvements to her kitchen to have a better working environment and improve the operating conditions of the production process.
