A loan of $1,175 helped to buy sodas and energy drinks.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 40 years old, is an honest and hard-working woman. She is married and has a 10-year old son. They live in their own house, which she built with her husband's help.

Rosa has as her business activity the sale of energy drinks and sodas. This is why she has a refrigerator and a freezer, which is used from very early so that the drinks reach their ideal chilling point.

She sells directly to elderly people, and she generally works in the afternoons. During the mornings, she gets help from her sister-in-law or her son in attending to customers, while she works washing clothes in a well-known inn in the city.

She has been in this business for more than 10 years, and the profits she has earned have helped her acquire some material things she has always wanted in addition to allowing her to cover basic household expenses in collaboration with her husband.

She likes her work, since she has time available to comfortably carry out other activities at home. She has many future plans, but for the moment, she would like to expand her home business and set it up in order to receive and serve her customers more comfortably.

In this instance, she will apply for 3000 soles. She appreciates the opportunity and trust that is being placed in her to receive this financing. On the other side, she is committed to making her payments on time. With the requested amount, she will buy more sodas and energy drinks in order to continue with her sales.
