A loan of $400 helped buy parts for his motorcycle taxi.

Cristian's story

Cristian is a 22-year-old man, is very friendly and has the vigor that identifies enterprising young people. He is single and without children. He currently lives in his parents' home and he strives to get ahead every day.

Christian works in public transportation, taking people throughout the city. He has a motorcycle taxi and for this reason works according to scheduled hours. He traverses all the city streets looking for passengers that need to be taken somewhere specific. He makes sure that they arrive at their destination without inconvenience.

He has had his taxi for 8 years and since then he has been carrying out this work. Due to his great ability to convince passengers to ride with him, he has gotten good profits during his whole work journey and in this way obtains what he needs to cover the family expenses.

However, he now has the need to begin studying a technical career. For this reason, he wants to buy another mototaxi to rent. In this way, he can secure another form of income that will allow him to handle his future school expenses. For now, he wants to repair his taxi and use the money he gets to save up to buy another work vehicle. In this way, he will continue in his struggle to help his family progress.

In this occasion, he is asking for 1,000 sols (US$400) to buy new tires, redo the upholstery, and buy a few other mototaxi parts. In turn, he promises to make his payments in a responsible way. He is very glad for the support that is being offered to him so he can increase his investments.
