A loan of $625 helped to buy dressmaking materials and a sewing machine.

Reyna's story

Reyna is 57 years old and is very happy and friendly. She is married to Juan, who is the father of her four children. She lives in her own house with her husband and grandson, whom she wants to provide with a good upbringing and a good quality of life. Reyna makes a living as a dressmaker. She has her own workshop in her home and it is there that she does work on commission as well as making her own designs and creations to keep her customers satisfied.

She has been doing this work since she was very young as she was always curious about it. Her mother taught her everything she knows and so she decided to make this work her career. She thinks, given her good earnings, that her business is profitable. Reyna likes her work. She is always happy, always has clients and she is making a living doing something she enjoys. This is her fourth loan with MFP so she hopes to count on collaboration to continue with her objectives. At the same time, she promises to continue making her repayments on time. With the 1600 Nuevo Soles she has applied for, she will buy materials for continuing with her work, such as material, thread, elastic and more. In addition she will buy a sewing machine.
