Favourite Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 30-year-old Shelly from Mutare. She is married with two children, both attending school. Shelly runs a retail business selling clothes, blankets and footwear. The business has been in operation for five years. She says the main challenge faced is lack of capital to meet demand. Shelly has requested a loan of $400 to purchase more stock for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the general family welfare. In the future, Shelly plans to employ other people, create employment and own a boutique shop in town.
