A loan of $1,000 helped to buy jewelry and ready-to-wear clothing.

Adjelevi's story

Mrs. Adjélévi, age 49, is married to an electrician and has one child to support. To contribute to household expenses, she sells jewelry and ready-to-wear clothing.

She started this business in 1985, and gets her supplies in Accra (Ghana) and Cotonou (Benin). She then resells at the Grand Market in Lomé.

She's seeking a fourth loan from Kiva's partner, WAGES, in order to resupply. She wants to ensure the stability of her business and the well-being of her family.
