Rossette is a single mother widowed at the age of 40. She now lives with her four children. Her main source of income depends on unreliable odd jobs to ensure that she and the children survive. She later realized that more work was not forthcoming and decided to join a group of coffee farmers.

Currently, Rossette has a big coffee and banana plantation from which she gets most of her income. Her biggest challenge now is that she wants to buy enough fertilizers for her plantation; she has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan shillings from UGAFODE for that purpose. She hopes with the fertilizers, her production will increase and so will her income.
