Sonia's story

Sonia, age 38 and widowed, works hard to provide for her two children. She runs a general store business where she sells such items as soft drinks and soap. She has been running the store for five years. She earns an additional income from offering tricycle transportation.

She is requesting a PhP 10,000 loan through NWTF, which she will use to purchase grocery items to offer for sale in her store. She has borrowed and successfully repaid two previous loans from NWTF.

Sonia's goal is to save enough money to expand her business.
