Reo's Group's story

The new "Donan Hulu" group was formed about six months ago. The group members meet and visit each other regularly and discuss their businesses together. Different business from the "Donan Hulu" group include opening a counter selling cell phones and phone calling credit; selling clothes, tissue box covers and traditional Muslim head coverings; selling snacks, selling household items and tools. The group members want to increase the variety and amount of goods they sell with the loan from Kiva.

Reo is the leader of this group. She has a business selling household items and tools. Her husband works as a contractor. Reo has four children, two of whom are in school. With this loan, she wants to purchase other household appliances because her shop has limited types of items right now. She dreams that in the future she can open a fully stocked appliance store in Cilacap town center. She hopes that this loan from Kiva will help develop the businesses of all of the members.
