Ana Marisol's story

Ana lives with her husband and her two children who are ages ten and seven. She also lives with her mother-in-law and a sister-in-law. She and her husband provide solely for their children. Ana works selling snacks from her cart, which bears the name of one of her children. She has managed this business for more than three years, offering pupusas (a traditional dish of El Salvador) and french fries, which she makes everyday. Ana needs to invest in purchasing products such as sausage, chicken, cabbage, bread, and other items which will help her keep her business strong and improve her sales.

Ana's main aspiration is to have her children study and get ahead in life as she helps them to have a better future.
