A loan of $1,000 helped to clean and sow his land and buy supplies. Also to buy two calves.

José Jorge's story

José is 54 years old, married and has three children; two sons aged 23 and 19 and a daughter aged 20. They all live together. Since he was 10, José has worked in agriculture. His parents taught him to grow corn and sorghum, among other crops. José could not go to school because it was located far from where he lived, so he worked full time in agriculture.

With the loan he is requesting at Fundación Campo, he will clean and cultivate the fields, and buy supplies. He will also buy two calves that he will feed with fodder and husks from the previous season. In this way, he will not waste this feed and will prepare his land for another season.
