A loan of $1,775 helped to buy a new fridge and staple foods.

María Dolores's story

María Dolores is 47 years old and has become known in her town for being a determined woman. With care and effort, she has managed to help her three children move forward. María has had to face big challenges and they have taught her how to be mature in life.
She says her children are her biggest priority in life and everything she has fought for has been to give her children a better life.
María has bravely opened up a shop in her home where she sells staple foods in order to generate more necessary income to sustain her household, where she is a single mother.
Her biggest dream is to buy a home to improve her living conditions and so she relies on her business and wants to invest in buying more stock and a fridge so as to improve the quality of service and generate more sales. This will allow her to save enough money to put a down payment on her house. María does not have her own money to invest in her business so she is applying for this loan so she can start to make her dream a reality.
