Eline's story

Eline lives at Sinkor in Montserrado County near the capital city of Liberia. It is well known as the commercial city of Liberia. She is 40 years old and married with six children between the ages of 9 months and 20 years old. Only five of them are in school and they all live at home.

For ten years now she has been running a table market where she sells rice, peanuts, beans, pepper, and others items. She started this business with the help of her husband and learned this way of selling from her mother. She likes her business because it gives her more money and meeting her own expenses makes her proud of her business.

She is requesting a loan to buy more rice, peanuts, beans, pepper and others items to expand her business. She wishes to buy a piece of land and build her house.
