Siti's story

Siti runs small stall that sells soft drinks, snacks, coffee, cigarettes, cell phone accessories, and mobile phone airtime credits. Recently, she worked as a fabric laborer and has four persons living in her house.

She joined Ruma seven months ago. The reason she joined is because she wanted to help increase her family income. When she got introduced to Ruma the first time, she felt satisfied with the terms that Ruma offers.

Now, she feels really excited to expand her business of selling mobile phone airtime credits and facilitating bill payments for customers. For the last three months, she has had around $190 to $250 a day in sales on average (just mobile phone airtime credit sales). As the business grows, she needs more working capital in order to be able to do transaction on weekends.
