A loan of $975 helped a member to buy three more pigs for raising and to buy fish for resale.

Sreyleab's Group's story

Sreyleab, a fish vendor from Banteay Meanchey province, is 28 years old and has two children. To add more income for the family’s sake, her husband also raises pigs and tailors clothes. Farming is the business that Srealeab has been engaged in for five years. She is a second time borrower with VisionFund, Kiva’s partner. The past loan enabled her to progressively support her living as well as her business. Now, she has formed a group of three to apply for a new loan. As the group leader, she will use her loan portion to buy three more pigs for raising and to buy fish for resale. She hopes to earn more income so that she can expand her business to a bigger scale.
