A loan of $525 helped to buy two pedicabs.

Roberto Carlos's story

Roberto Carlos is from the municipality of El Sauce. He is a 32-year-old father who was taught to love work from a very young age. He started working in the pedicab business by offering his services to inhabitants and visitors in his municipality. Over the years, he has put effort into his work and he now has seven pedicabs which he rents out for this type of service. In this town, pedicabs are a type of taxi made of a bicycle with a seat in the back, where the passenger sits in order to travel to different parts of the municipality of El Sauce. Roberto Carlos has applied for a loan to buy two pedicabs, because the demand for this service has grown and he does not currently have the capital to make this investment. He is asking for help from Kiva lenders to support him with this loan through Ceprodel so that he can accomplish his goal, because these loans are of great help to small business owners.
