A loan of $775 helped to buy soft drinks, juices, bread, cookies, milk, eggs, cheese, water, beans, sugar, butter, etc., for her business.

Claudia's story

Claudia, 25 years old, lives with her parents in their home located in Morazan, in the south of Honduras. For five years she has been selling rice, beans, butter, eggs, oil, toilet paper, chicken, beef, sausages, tomato pastes, spaghetti, and soft drinks. Claudia sells from Monday to Sunday to customers who visit her daily, among these her neighbors and friends, as her business is located in her house. Claudia is requesting the loan to buy more food products such as soft drinks, juices, bread, cookies, milk, eggs, cheese, water, beans, sugar, butter, etc. With the support of this loan she hopes to grow her inventory and thus the volume of her sales. Claudia's dream is to be able to finish her studies and to keep her business in good shape. San Lorenzo, Honduras - February 2013.
