A loan of $1,250 helped to buy grocery items, toiletries, and beverages to sell.

Aida's story

This is Aida. Her previous loan was a big help to her business. She was able to buy all the ingredients she needed for her grocery store. She has had this business for 23 years now. In addition to her variety store, she also operates a food stall and repackages products to earn additional income. Aida and her husband are working hard to provide income to meet their daily needs. She would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages, and other products to add to her current inventory. The more items displayed at the store the better. More items to sell will result in additional profit. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to meet her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial addition with a glad and thankful heart. Aida dreams of having a bigger store for her growing business and hopes that her family will always stick together. She meets with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week and draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and from her studies of the Word of God. *All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
