A loan of $500 helped to pay for bananas, sweet potatoes, sugar, oil and gas needed in her business.

Vangie's story

This is Vangie. She previously accessed a 20,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan that she used buy to more quantities of products like bananas, sweet potatoes, sugar and other ingredients needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in her personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 20,000 PHP loan to purchase bananas, sweet potatoes, sugar, oil and gas needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Vangie hopes to expand and have another stall. She dreams to give her children a good education. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
