A loan of $450 helped to buy women's wholesale shoes.

Deisy's story

Deisy is 38 years old and has been selling footwear for the past two years. A friend gave her the encouragement to start earning money by doing manicures for her circle of friends who turned into regular customers and also brought in referral clients. She got a friend to provide footwear for sale and that brought her new buyers.

Today her market has grown and she offers her products accepting both cash and credit. She hopes to make purchases that allow her to offer discounts and generate more sales but she doesn't always have the cash flow to take advantage of discounts, she is missing out on opportunity. This is exactly the reason she comes to Kiva loans. This is the first loan she request from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo which will allow her to buy women's shoes wholesale to increase her profits. She will be able to buy a showcase to make a better display because her goal is to grow the business. Her greatest dream is to have her own home to improve her way of life and that of her family, which consists of her partner and two children ages 4 and 17.
