Galina has grown vegetables in greenhouses on her own land in the village of Velikaya Znamenka for 23 years. She, her husband and son all help out with the farming duties. The income from their garden is around 120,000 grivens. They grow tomatoes, cucumbers and radishes. Galina has lived her whole life in Velikaya Znamenka, once working on a farm as a milkmaid, then in the cafeterias of state farms, and only began seriously farming her own land when she could find no more work. She has turned to Kiva for financial assistance since during the growing season, she needed to install a boiler for heat which costed 17,000 grivens. Thanks to the installed boiler, the whole garden can be heated. In time, Galina dreams of remodeling her home.

Галина обратилась за дополнительной финансовой помощью к КИВА, так как в том сельскохозяйственном сезоне ей нужно было установить котел для отопления, который стоит 17 000 гривен.
