A loan of $600 helped to buy clothes, lingerie and sandals for women.

Sonia's story

Sonia, 50, is a dynamic and hardworking woman. She is married to Jorge, and they have three adult children. The family shares a house that they own and together, they fight to have a better quality of life.

Sonia sells clothes, lingerie and shoes. She sells on credit, among friends, neighbors and relatives, and collects the money weekly or monthly. Normally, her customers order what they want to buy in advance. Sonia has had this business for more than twenty-two years. She does well and her partner and two daughters help her. When she started this business, she was unsure and doubtful, but with time she learned and has become an excellent saleswoman.

Sonia likes her job because she produces her own income and has enough time left to take care of the household chores. She has numerous plans for the future. For instance, she would like to open a store where she can display her products better and offer a more comfortable environment to her customers.

Sonia is requesting a loan for 1500 soles [PEN]. She feels grateful with all those who will make this loan possible, helping her to continue pursuing her goals. She promises to pay the installments on time. With the loan, she will buy a wide assortment of garments, lingerie and sandals for women, all of great quality.
