William's Group's story

William is a fifty-nine-year-old farmer and a father of six children. He and his wife keep animals and grow food crops such as maize, cowpeas, and cassava. His farming business is affected by drought, and he lacks the funds he needs to buy pesticides to protect his crops.

William decided to become a KOMAZA tree farmer because he believes the trees will restore the environment and bring more rainfall to his area. He is looking forward to receiving the inputs and technical training from KOMAZA. He hopes to use the money he makes from his harvest to provide high quality education to his children and build a better house.
