A loan of $1,450 helped to maintain pastureland.

Froilán's story

Mr. Froilán lives in the Cochabamba neighborhood, in Bulo Bulo, in the Carrasco province. He makes his living in the agricultural community Colonia Agro Ganadera 25 de Abril. He acquired said land many years ago during colonization and, little by little and through much effort, he has acquired 63 head of cattle, both cows and calves. He is currently committed to selling 15 of them.

He only has two children that are currently in the university, which means that they cannot help him on the farm. It is difficult for him to work alone, and it is for this reason that he contracts laborers in order to maintain his pastures. He is asking for this loan to help pay for hired labor, so that Mr. Froilán can dedicate more time to taking care of his livestock and so that he can have clean pastures. If the pastures become too full of weeds, the probability of other animals attacking his livestock greatly increases.
