Gulmira's story

Gulmira is 51 years old and raised 3 children. After the fall of the USSR and the collapse of its collective farms, Gulmira started her own business with livestock, with a start-up sum of 20,000 KGS. She now has 2.5 hectares of land where she has a farmyard and where she also grows beans and perennial grasses. She has a monthly income of 6,000 KGS from selling cattle and her crops. In order to expand her business, Gulmira has turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 40,000 KGS to buy sheep. She plans to use the income from the loan to expand her business even further.
