A loan of $2,125 helped to purchase a milk cow and sheep.

Kadyira's story

Kadyira is 47 years old, married, and raising two children. Her older son is studying at university, and her daughter goes to school.

As a main source of income for her family, Kadyira began in 1995 to engage in raising livestock and growing crops. Having started this business with three heifers for 9,000 KGS, through hard work Kadyira today has on her farm two cows, one calf, and a horse, which bring in a monthly profit of 12,000 som. Concluding that this business is profitable, Kadyira approached Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy sheep for fattening and resale, and a cow to increase revenues through selling milk.

Kadyira plans to invest income from the loan to further expand her farm.
