Fermín, es divorciado y tiene tres hijos los cuales ya son independientes, vive en la casa de sus padres ocupando dos habitaciones pequeñas con paredes de ladrillo, la casa se encuentra ubicada en la zona Achachicala de la ciudad de La Paz.
Actualmente trabaja como chofer por más de ocho horas al día y hasta altas horas de la noche ya que debe cubrir sus gastos personales de alimentación y pago de servicios básicos.
El crédito lo requiere para pagar el mantenimiento de su vehículo ya que es su única fuente de trabajo para sustentarse.
El sueño de Fermín, es mejorar sus ingresos y su calidad de vida para tener más comodidad.
Es la segunda vez que solicita crédito con IMPRO y la segunda vez junto a KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
