Bashil is a married man, aged 53, who lives in Kagadi, Uganda. Due to his passion for agriculture he started a produce business four years ago. He has also purchased a milling machine. With the proceeds he has been able to build rental houses to supplement his produce business and has also continued to farm. Bashil dreams of buying a vehicle to help him transport the goods despite the challenges of bad weather and bad roads that affect his business. Bashil is requesting a loan to buy beans and maize to sell.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
