Sumaira's story

Ms. Sumaira is a vigorous lady; she has been running a business of clothing sales for the past three years. She buys clothes of different fabrics in various colors and designs from the big market in Peshawar at wholesale rates. Then she sells to the people of her community. She has a varied customer base and is able to earn enough through her business. She knows that her husband’s income is not sufficient to meet all of their expenses, which is why she takes a keen interest in her business to earn maximum profit. Sumaira is requesting a loan of 30,000 PKR from the Kashf Foundation to buy a wide variety of clothing in different colors and designs in order to attract more customers and expand her inventory. She expects a boost in her earnings and plans to spend part of her profits on the betterment of her family members. Sumaira dreams of opening her own boutique at a nearby market.
