Zoya's story

Zoya is 54 years old, married and has two school-aged children. In 2005, she and her husband started their own business with 70,000 KGS. Now, under her care, she has 13 head of sheep and 4 calves. Fattening and selling cattle brings in 10,000 KGS a month for the family. In order to further expand her business, Zoya has turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 120,000 KGS to buy cattle and 25 sheep. With the income from the loan, Zoya plans to make repairs to her home. In the future, she dreams of buying an apartment.
