Teresita is 55 years old, married and the mother of eleven children. She earns a living by farming sugarcane in the Philippines, and is requesting a loan for PHP 29,500 through NWTF to buy fertilizer and other farm supplies. Teresita has been farming sugarcane for 13 years and also earns additional income by running a general store. She is working tirelessly toward her goal of saving enough money to send her children to school.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more.
