A loan of $400 helped to buy cleaning supplies.

Yohana's story

Yohana, 33, is single and has a child who's just a year old for whom she makes the maximum effort. She has a house made of high-quality materials that her parents gave to her. After her divorce she had one income for her small family, so she opened a small grocery store with the support of her mother. She says it's a family business in a good location where she can look after her young child as well as work with her characteristic effort. In her business she sells various products for the housewife. To complement her business she has an automatic freezer where she sells cold beverages such as passionfruit soda, which is in great demand. Her long-term goal is to start building the third floor of her house to rent and generate a fixed income for the future. Currently she wants to have 1000 nuevos soles [PEN] to continue buying products wholesale such as soap, brushes, detergent, and other household products. She's grateful for the financial support offered and is committed to making her payments punctually.
