A loan of $1,200 helped a member to buy maize for grinding meal.

Blessed Utete Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 53-year-old Jerryfanos from Masvingo. He is married with eight children, three of whom are attending school. Jerryfanos runs a retail business selling meal. The business has been in operation for ten years. He says the main challenge he faces is a shortage of maize, especially in dry seasons when it is more expensive. Jerryfanos has requested a loan of 400 USD to buy maize for grinding meal. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow him to increase his dispoable income for school fees and food. In the future, Jerryfanos plans to become an agro-dealer with his own hardware shop.
