A loan of $625 helped to pay for feed and poultry needed in her business.

Ma. Theresa's story

This is Ma. Theresa. She previously accessed a 20,000 PHP loan that she used to buy feed and poultry. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in their personal, household and business expenditures. She has been in this business for two years now and she sees a great opportunity so she is expanding it. Aside from breeding chickens, she also sells frozen foods and processed foods.

She would now like to apply for a 25,000 PHP loan to buy more poultry and feed for her business. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to cover their daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Ma. Theresa dreams that her business will grow bigger and she will have more poultry. She hopes that her family will be prosperous. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
