Mahmudjon's story

Mahmudjon has earned a living fattening cattle for five years. He has a large family which includes his wife and five children--four girls and one son. His youngest is seven years old. Because he has five children, his wife is needed in the home and she spends her time raising them. This is a big responsibility. Mahmudjon has raised cattle since he was young. He lives in a village where this sort of work is very important. He receives a good income from reselling his cattle. He has big plans for the future and dreams that his children will be able to receive a higher education and that they will find good jobs. Mahmudjon also wants to build a home for his only son. He is already thinking of his son's future and hopes that in his old age, his son will be a mainstay. In order to start building a home, Mahmudjon plans to increase the number of cattle among his herd and therefore expand his business. Then, with the money he's saved, he will begin construction. He asks for a loan to buy cattle and feed, he hopes to sell these cattle at a good price.
