Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Her husband is in Argetina so she lives alone and her only son is has his own income. Felipa produces milk and cheese which she sells at the weekly market in Challapata. She has seven Holstein cows and produces an average 105 litres per day. She also has five Merino sheep. She takes care of the family business all year long.

Felipa only produces cheese for local sale. The loan she is requesting is to plant alfalfa on her land in the community. This is so she can feed her livestock during the drought season.
