A loan of $1,025 helped to build a house.

Victoriana's story

Victoriana, 55, has been married to Felipe for more than 32 years. They both have an elementary school education. They have one dependent child (disabled, age 31). The family has limited resources. They live in the Liquintaya community, four kilometers to the north of Colomi.

She and her husband are hardworking people who make a living in agricultural labor with income during the season for selling potatoes, broad beans in the pod, and oca [a tuber]. They grow in the same community, on 3.5 hectares inherited from her parents. They have heads of cattle: one dairy, two for fattening, one calf and one young bull.

Victoriana's requesting the loan to build a house because she invested her savings in medicine for her son who is ill (disabled).

Finally, she and her family were very happy because they needed money urgently for the medicine mentioned earlier. She always will work to be able to have a better future.
