Guery, 50, lives in the indigenous community of Nueva Galilea, Carrasco province, in Chimore municipality. Guery previously lived in the department of Santa Cruz until about 20 years ago when he came to Chimore, leaving behind all his possessions. This is where he met his wife Nancy with whom he now has five children. Guery is a farmer, and he is also a the community wood carver in Nueva Galilea. He earns his living from these two jobs.

The loan Guery is requesting will be used to expand his plantain production, to give him a sufficient income so that he can help his children to finish school. Guery dreams of a better future for his children. He was not able to finish college or build a career himself, but he wants his children to embark on a career and help people in their neighborhood.

El señor Guery tiene 50 años de edad el vive en la Comunidad Indigena Nueva Galilea de la provincia Carrasco, del Municipio de Chimore, Guery vivia en el departamento de Santa Cruz hace como 20 años atras se vino a chimore dejando todas sus pertenencias y se conocio con la señora Nancy con la cual se encuentra casado y tiene cinco hijos, Guery trabaja como Agricultor y su segunda actividad es el Rallado de Madera en la comunidad Nueva Galilea. Esa son las dos maneras de la que obtiene sus ingresos economicos. El préstamo que solicita Guery es para la Ampliacion de su produccion de Platano y de esa manera podrá tener ingresos suficientes y poder ayudar a sus hijos a terminar el colegio. Guery sueña con un futuro mejor para sus hijos ya que el no pudo terminar el colegio ni hacer una carrera, pero él quiere que su hijos si puedan realizar una carrera y poder ayudar a las personas de la zona.
