A loan of $1,500 helped to buy dairy cattle.

Andrea's story

Andrea is fifty-seven years old, is married, and never attended school. She has one son who is her dependent and who is studying. She lives in a rural community called Cotani Alto, near the southern part of Colomi.

Andrea's economic activity is agricultural production. She sells potatoes and beans. Through this work, she can economically maintain her family and provide food for them.

She needs a loan to buy two dairy cattle in order to make and sell milk and cheese, thereby generating other income in the future. For this reason, she is requesting a loan, since the savings she had have already been invested in the purchase of agricultural supplies.

Finally, she feels happy to be able to have access to this credit. Furthermore, she is enthusiastic in the purchase of more dairy cattle. She is sure that this investment in the dairy cattle sector is a good one, and that she will thereby be able to improve her quality of life.
