Akodessewa, Togo / Retail

A loan of $600 helped to buy damask.

Dédé's story

Dédé is 31 years old and married to a retailer. They have two children in their care, who are 11 years old and four years old respectively and both at school. She is a hotel receptionist and at the same time retails damask fabric, carrying out this secondary activity at home. Customer demand is increasing on a daily basis and, as she cannot satisfy this demand, she is turning to WAGES for a first loan so she can buy goods (damask) and respond to her customers' demand. She would like to see her family flourish and set up a shop to display her goods. She started this business in 2010.
