Ezekiel's Group's story

Ezekiel is a fifty-four year old farmer. He and his wife have ten children, five of which are still in school. Their work is very difficult due to erratic rainfall and lack of money to buy pesticides and medicines to protect their crops and animals. Ezekiel was attracted to the KOMAZA tree-planting program because he hoped his tree farm would improve the local environment, as well as generate income for his family. With the income he receives from his tree farm, Ezekiel hopes to educate his children, build a better house, and invest in quality-breed cattle.
