Musarat's story

Musarat is 40 years old and enjoys doing hand embroidery work. She started doing this work with her daughters. Her embroidery patterns are very popular in her territory. Due to increasing demand of her embroidery designs, she is including other women in her business.

Musarat has seven children, and her husband’s income alone is not sufficient to support the needs of the family. Musarat is motivated to provide her family with the basic necessities of life, including food, clothes and education. In order to meet the growing demand for her embroidery, she needs to buy more material. For this, she requested a loan of 30,000 PKR from Kashf Foundation. With this loan she can buy more frames, needles and threads of different colors, which will help in generating more income. She hopes to have a good experience with this new loan.
